Step back into the 17th century and relive one of the most turbulent times in Gloucester's history: The Siege of Gloucester. A family event with re-enactors, talks and demonstrations bringing the English Civil War to life.
Ask the Siege Doctor for a bizarre 17th-century cure, marvel at the musket display and finds from the local metal detectorists, and get in-depth insights from local historians.
Please note that the event is free entry, but booked talks are £5 per ticket, and all donations to the Folk of Gloucester are welcome.
