Isis & Windrush Lakes

The lake locations and facilities we offer include:

Clearwater, Howells Mere & Minety Lakes

Located within the beautiful Lower Mill Estate development, these contemporary style properties all have lake views and access to all the excellent on-site facilities and activities. These include the Balihoo Restaurant, excellent on-site spa with two heated pools, sauna, steam room and gym.

Enjoy the range of watersports including paddleboarding, kayaking, rowing boats, bike hire, tennis and many other nature activities available via the Activity Hub. Fishing is also available on 8 different lakes.

Mill Village

The Lower Mill Estate has access to over 550 acres of lakes and countryside making it one of the most attractive locations within the Cotswold Lakes. Mill Village offers an outdoor heated pool, tennis court, table tennis, open spaces, Balihoo restaurant, pizza takeaway, and well equipped children's play area.

Bike and water sports equipment hire available. The Activity Hub also offers nature walks and crafts, yoga and much more. Fishing is available on 8 different lakes easily accessible from Mill Village.

Waters Edge Lake

Peaceful, tranquil setting, these contemporary styled holiday homes are architecturally inspired with spacious glass fronted open plan living areas with stunning lake views.

All properties have a downstairs bedroom complete with ensuite facilities. Hot tubs are available on the waterside decking of all properties.

The lake is located close to many of the local watersports, activities, pubs, restaurants and local villages.

Isis & Windrush Lakes

A variety of New England style lodges sit around three reed edged lakes, with large green open spaces, well-manicured grounds and waterbirds.

Isis and Windrush are great locations for families as they offer an extensive range of on-site activities including tennis and an excellent children's adventure playground.

Bring your own paddleboard or canoe and explore the lake. Windrush & Isis Lake offer excellent carp and trout fishing.

Spring Lake

New England style lakeside lodges run the length of Spring Lake. This beautiful setting offers adrenaline filled water sports such as water skiing, wake-boarding and ringos.

The on-site Lakeside Brasserie & Bar offers a great vantage point. The welcoming atmosphere and extensive menu makes this a great venue for all the family. Close to range of other activities, watersports and South Cerney Village. Well marked walking and cycling trails direct from the doorstep.

Summer Lake

Quiet, tranquil location. Stunning New England style lakeside properties line the banks of Summer Lake.

All the properties benefit from gorgeous views over the tranquil waters with your very own private deck to make the most of the scenery. Tennis courts available for guests use.

South Cerney village, The Old Boathouse restaurant, Lakeside Brasserie & Bar all within walking distance.

The Landings

A lovely quiet and tranquil location. The New England style properties set in an area of outstanding natural beauty. The well equipped decking provides the perfect spot to simply sit back and enjoy lakeside life. They benefit from a spacious, open plan living/kitchen/dining area with spectacular views across the lake.

The Lakeside Brasserie & Bar close and the village of South Cerney and its pubs all within walking distance. All weather tennis courts onsite.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) - Orion Holidays

All of our staff have different favourites, Mark, the boss at Orion, loves the Lakeside Brasserie for a beer after work to watch the waterskiing, The Lodge at Lake 12 has superb lake views and great coffee, The Dragonfly Café and Nature Reserve at Lower Moor is a wildlife delight and the Gateway Café has it all, lake views, great food options and friendly service. There are so many others to choose from however.

So much choice, and most dogs just love the water. There are many great walks direct from each of the lakes, there are also many superb well marked countryside trails and paths including the Thames and Severn Canal path and The Thames Path which runs right through the Cotswold Water Park. Most of the local pubs and cafés welcome dogs, and there are many to choose from and can be easily walkable. Please be aware some areas may require dogs to be on leads due to nesting birds and wildlife.

You can paddleboard and canoe on all of the lakes where our holiday homes for free except on Spring Lake because it is reserved for waterskiing, ringo's and wakeboarding. Many of the local watersports centres offer the option to launch your craft for a small launch fee. A great way to have fun on the water, explore the lakes, the shoreline, birdlife and experience the best of the local nature first hand.

There are so many local fun activities that can be enjoyed for those of all ages from shooting and archery, paddleboarding, kayaking, waterskiing, ringos, the Cotswolds beach, AquaVenture assault course to rally driving, horse riding and forest adventures.
