Broadway Tower & Park

Broadway Tower is a folly on Broadway Hill, near the village of Broadway, in the Worcestershire Cotswolds at the second-highest point of the Cotswolds.

Broadway Tower Country Park is home to Broadway Tower, known as "The Highest Little Castle in the Cotswolds".

As well as Broadway Tower, Broadway Tower Country Park also has spectacular views, a restaurant, a Red deer enclosure, country walks, picnic sites and wildlife & wildflowers in season.

Broadway Tower - The Highest Little Castle in the Cotswolds

Broadway Tower was completed in 1799 from designs by the famous architect James Wyatt. It was built for the 6th Earl of Coventry as a folly to his Springhill Estate.

Broadway Tower's base is 1,024 feet (approximately 312 metres) above sea level. The tower itself stands 65 feet (or just under 20 metres) high.

Legend has it that it's purpose ws that of a signalling tower between Springfield and the Earl's family estate at Croome Court near Worcester, which can be seen from the tower.
