The Red Arrows were once based in the Cotswolds
The Red Arrows (officially known as the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team) are a staple of British summers and whenever there is a big national event - like royal celebrations - their flybys and air displays delight the crowds.
Initially, the Red Arrows were based at RAF Little Rissington in Gloucestershire, then the Central Flying School (CFS), and in 1966 they moved to RAF Kemble, now known as Cotswold Airport.
In 1983 the Red Arrows moved to RAF Scampton, in Lincolnshire. So no, the Red Arrows are not based in the Cotswolds.

Cotswold Airport is the largest private business aviation airport in the UK South West. It's located just outside the Gloucestershire village of Kemble.
The MOD sold the airport in 2001. Whist operated by the MOD the airport was famous for being the home of the RAF Red Arrows aerobatic team.
