Minster Lovell Hall

The idyllic remains of Minster Lovell Hall, a manor house from the 15th century in Oxfordshire, are located in a serene countryside setting next to the River Windrush. The site comprises of an impressive hall, tower, and a nearby dovecote.

Constructed during the 1430s by William, Baron of Lovell and Holand - one of the wealthiest individuals in England at the time - Minster Lovell Hall later became the residence of Francis, Viscount Lovell, a trusted confidant of Richard III. Following several changes in ownership, the hall was eventually abandoned and demolished during the 18th century, leaving behind its vast remnants that remain standing today.
