Chipping Norton Museum

Chipping Norton Museum is situated on the first floor at 4 High St, opposite the Town Hall, regrettably there is no disabled access. The Museum is funded with the exception of an annual grant from Chipping Norton T.C., entirely from public donations, admission fees and fund-raising.

The History of Chipping Norton Museum

The museum was first opened in March 1986 in the old schoolroom of the Baptist Chapel in New Street. The Museum moved to its present home in 1995.

The Museum was given a large collection of agricultural tools by Mr Tom Pitt from Chadlington, many of which are still on display today.
