The Rollright Stones

The Rollright Stones are a complex of three Neolithic and Bronze Age megalithic monuments near the village of Long Compton, and approximately 4 miles from Chipping Norton, on the borders of Oxfordshire and Warwickshire.

The Rollright Stones are normally open to the public every day, all year round. On rare occasions the site may be closed for a ticketed event.

Entry fee

The entry fee to the Rollright Stones is £1 for adults and 50p for children aged 7-16. You can pay your admission fee online in advance or by using the QR code at the site. There is also a 'honesty box' at the entrance to the stone circle.

If a Warden is on duty (some busy weekends) you may also pay your entrance fee to them.

Parking at the Rollright Stones

If you are arriving at the Rollright Stones by vehicle then there are two laybys on the main road outside the stone circle. About 10 to 12 cars can park here, so at busy times you may have to return later when the parking isn't so busy.
