Adlestrop, Gloucestershire
Adlestrop is a small village in the Cotswolds. It is located about 3 miles east of Stow-on-the-Wold, on the county boundary with Oxfordshire. The village is on a stream that flows southwest to join the River Evenlode. Adlestrop is known for its picturesque cottages and stone walls, and its quiet and peaceful atmosphere.

The village was immortalised in the poem 'Adlestrop' by Edward Thomas (1878-1917), which describes a train journey that the poet took through the village in 1914.
