Cycling in the Cotswolds
You don't have to be Bradley Wiggins or Lotte Kopecky to
enjoy cycling in the Cotswolds.
Yes, there are plenty of "mamils" (middle-aged men in lycra) to be
seen cycling on Cotswold roads, but there are also plenty of families who enjoy cycling the relatively quite
country lanes in the area.
Bike hire in the Cotswolds
Bike hire prices start at
around £18 for a half-day hire or £30 for the day. Prices vary by type of bike and hire duration.
It is also possible to hire child seats, trailers and
tandems at many bike hire centres.
Some of the places to hire a bike in the Cotswolds will also
have varying levels of bike repair facilities on-site should your own bike need repairing.
Cycle Routes in the Cotswolds
With miles and miles of country lanes, bridleways and paths in the
Cotswolds, you're going to be spoilt for choice when planning a cycle route in the area.
