Bibury - A perennial favourite with Cotswold visitors

Bibury seems to be visited by tourists all year round. In the summer months parking in Bibury can be tricky as cars compete with coaches for the limited parking spaces in the small car park and the on-street parking.

Make sure you take your camera so that you can take photographs of Arlington Row, the picturesque bridge over the river Coln, Bibury Trout Farm, Arlington Mill (now a holiday rental property) and the other Cotswold stone cottages in the village.

There are miles and miles of countryside walks in the area, so we suggest that you purchase one of the Cotswold Walks books that are on sale in book shops and on the internet to help you plan your walk.

Aldsworth is a Gloucestershire village located just off the B4425 from Cirencester to Burford just a few miles from Bibury.

Arlington Mill - Holiday let in Bibury

Arlington Mill in Bibury used to house the museum of Arlington Mill with a collection of period clothing, documents and working machinery illustrating milling and the Victorian way of life.

The cloth produced at the Arlington Row of weavers' cottages was sent to Arlington Mill for fulling (degreasing). Arlington Mill is now privately owned.
