Stroud Country Show celebrates life and community in the Five Valleys at Stratford Park, a short walk from Stroud town centre.
Stroud Country Show usually takes place during July, but the 2023 event was cancelled, due to the forecast of high gusty winds and thunder, and the 2024 Show took place on Saturday July 13th.

There is a public car park just off the Market Square in Minchinhampton where parking for private vehicles is available for up to 23 hours. This is likely to be busy at peak times.

The 2023 Cheltenham Jazz Festival took place at Montpellier Gardens between 26th April and 1sy May 2023.
Performers included Laura Jurd, London jazz collective Ezra Collective, Mercury-nominated pianist Fergus McCreadie amd multi-award-winning Scottish singer Georgia Cécile.
The 2024 Cheltenham Jazz Festival is due to take place from 1st to 6th May 2024.

The Red Arrows were once based in the Cotswolds
The Red Arrows (officially known as the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team) are a staple of British summers and whenever there is a big national event - like royal celebrations - their flybys and air displays delight the crowds.
Initially, the Red Arrows were based at RAF Little Rissington in Gloucestershire, then the Central Flying School (CFS), and in 1966 they moved to RAF Kemble, now known as Cotswold Airport.
In 1983 the Red Arrows moved to RAF Scampton, in Lincolnshire. So no, the Red Arrows are not based in the Cotswolds.
